This is a 2-star book for me. The first few chapters caught my interest, but by the time the appliances were delivered to the couple’s new house, I was bored. Who in their right minds buy appliances in the US, ships them overseas for use in a foreign country without checking to see if they would work. At that point, I knew the rest of the book would be sometimes funny, sometimes believable, but a farce all the same. While I finished the book and would try something else by this author, I cannot recommend it.
